Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

we have Camel Spiders here in San Diego... Wind spiders.... Put a glove on once and something sharp poked my finger pulled my hand out and found one chewing on the end of my finger.... :th
Dairy bomb is just some stuff I can buy at the feed store that's supposed to be safe to use around dairy farms hospitals and food service places. I'm sure there's lots of different kinds of it. Sometimes I get one called dyfly. It obviously kills bugs so it's a poison so it can't be totally safe. Wouldn't breathe it or anything. But I can spray some around on my front porch and have no flies for about three hours or so. Your supposed to be able to use it in chicken coops if you needed to. .not with animals inside of course. But claims to be safe for them after its aired out.

Believe it or not I wont use bug spray... except as a last resort. This particurlar spider was in my glove at work. I suspected the guys I worked with at the time.

I will use Neem oil, Orange oil, Fly spray (for the horse), and as a last resort Pyrithene spray. But in the fourteen years I have had my house up in the desert I have used zero bug spray. Not even for ants.

The scorpions I catch and drop out side... same goes for spiders that scare me. Black widow, wolf, Big A$$ garden spiders. The Tarantulas stay outside.

The only time I go on a search and destroy will be for Fleas... and I WILL bug bomb the whole house...

Fleas and ticks live year round here as do flies...

See, that's why I won't breed them. As long as you have been breeding, and still get the occasional imperfections, too much for me! I understand its the breed, and not the breeders' fault, but my goodness! That's just too cute, and I would be furthering the whole reason that you serious breeders are trying so hard to correct!

Of course I had to google, lol

And of course I had to click your spoiler :lau

The fertility guru once again called me demeaning - even though I stopped posting on her thread 2 days ago, and reaffirmed the fact that she has a hen that has been broody for 5 years. Still waiting on her information and data on determining fertility on non incubated eggs. I wish I could be so smart and all knowing - guess it's too late for me. :old

"Good day today. Princess and I got up early and went to a field trial. Tee Party got his second win in a class of 20.

Congrats on Tee Party!
And I got in line for that extensive research. I was probably demeaning in doing so. :D

I hate toxic chemicals. I have quit using deet and now use cedar spray instead. Good for you.
