Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

I think getting good color and form on a female BCM is not too hard. It's the egg color that's the bugaboo there. And you have to wait so long to find out!
Males have issues (I think, like almost all breeds) with smuttiness on their chests, and gold leakage. I also had an issue with a wheaten gene in one of my BCM guys. Thankfully is showed up early in his first few offspring, so we were able to cull him before we sold any of his offspring.

Hey, @casportpony here's a pic of my little fly strike gal that you helped rescue from the jaws of death (and a hundred flesh eating maggots). She's all healed - I had a hard time even finding the scar yesterday!

Wow, she looks great!

Whoops, I thought you were talking feather shade. More coffee, eh?

Oh, there's enough opinions out there to get five for a dime. I was just running my mouth because that's what I do best---sorry if I shouldn't have.

No, no, its all good! Often times we think about things the way they relate to ourself, so your point was very valid. Thanks for making me look at it from a different perspective!

:love

I found leakage on one of my bantam cochin cockerels that I had such high hopes and plans for!! :he

Jeez.... Having a hard time getting motivated today.... Crappy weather.... Cloudy.... Foggy.... Wet and cold. Feels like October not August...:(
Did dishes ,laundry , made the bed, and ran a cabbage down to my wife at work.... She's gonna shred it there and make egg rolls and coleslaw.
Got to go install that last Jack under the house next.....I figure a crappy day like today is a good day to do that.

Good, I wanted to make sure I wasn't overstepping any boundary.

Sorry about that. The best laid plans of mice and men.... Are wrecked by chickens. :hugs
