Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

I've done tons of reading. My guess is Crohn's disease or gastroparesis. The pain is constant and has eliminated hunger pains. I very rarely actually feel hungry and when I do eat, I can't tell when I'm getting full. Accidentally getting my tummy overfull is a mistake I pay for. The pain is at it's worst then. It's mainly my upper mid abdomen. There are other pains that change as well. This has been going on since the 3rd week in July. I've just had it. It's making me cranky sometimes & I don't like me then.
Upper abdomen is where I used to have a pain quite often. The only relief I could find was forcing myself to burp. Only eased the pain but did help. Probably was just by chance that it helped.

Oh, Debs... :hugs You just worry about getting better. Once the Drs can figure out what's going on and you're not in constant pain anymore, everything will be so much better. You will be able to think more clearly, you will have a better outlook on life, and your days will be so much brighter.

Last time I was going to a shrink...she said I had to go get my pain managed, and then come back.

BTW

any of y'all have to deal with asperger types?

There are still some giant social oops that my eldest is doing. Kid can't remember some basic social stuff...that he has been reminded about a jillion times over the years.

Don't get it..... all of the kids issues are my issues.... but I don't -think- I did some of the stuff he is doing at such an old age.... ...

not sure why he doesn't have it down yet.

Yesterday a classmate walked up to my kid and one other person. Classmate started telling other person the cool stuff that he and my kid had done in class. My son leaned forward and put his head down on the desk in front of him, without any comments etc.

Wow, that's a tough go, bobbi-j! :hugs :hugs How's the hip now?

Tramadol...that's what the doc today prescribed me for the pain. I've never heard of it until now. Based on what I read, not something I can take when I go to work?

:hugs Thanks! May take you up on that.

I believe tramadol was what they gave hubby after one (or both) of his surgeries. He hated the pain meds, but finally gave in and took them.

And it was super thoughtful of you to think of us Pondies this morning to let us all know. We would have been worried, but your well-being comes first! We can all get over it, as long as you come back!! :p

Dawn told me to F-off earlier, lol... I consider it a term of endearment! :lau

Sent it, might be a bit before I hear back from her, but I will let you know... :hugs

Way too true... she also has one of the severest cases known in the medical community... only 1 other that was similar, her best friend, and she unfortunately committed suicide 2 years ago... enduring unending pain is no joke... :(
Who is dawn? Do we need to send some flying monkeys to beat her up?

Oh lucky you. I never see any ads myself but don't tell nodoby . :)
Really the ads aren't that bothersome other than when the pop ups were happening a while back. But I do think it loads faster without the ads.

:hugs :hugs

You folks mean a lot to me! This is how careful I am so I do my best not to hurt anyone's feelings. I find myself reading here & losing track...(thanks to pain induced brain fog & who knows, maybe a touch of old age). I tend to quote, but forget to like or meaning to quote, I hit like and forget to quote. I literally just now went back two pages because I was worried that I forgot to like some posts.

I want ya'll to know this because it's possible that I'll forget. If I do, it isn't intentional.
Hon if someone gets mad at you for not liking a post then I think they can just jump out of the pond. Just saying that's my opinion!
Being here should be a little escape from reality, fun and support for ya. . not an added stress. Don't worry bout it :hugs

Heh, my ADD, OCD and Autism are not co-existing well anymore... I read, swear I reply, then find out I didn't way later... miss seeing posts all the flockin' time, forget to hit quote, yadda, yadda, yadda... doesn't mean we don't care, just means we're a little off right now... :hugs
X2!!!
And :hugs for you too!!!

:hugs I've already started thinking that I may need to read my posts once or twice before actually hitting the "post reply" button. I'm betting my brain fog has caused me to post things that aren't 100% clear or things that could be mis-interpreted.

Forcing a burp is a dangerous proposition since I'm at least a bit nauseated all the time. :sick

:he :hugs

I have an awful headache so I'm gonna log off. Wonder if I have a morphine hangover. Ya'll have a good night. Sorry if I hijacked the thread with all this talk about me not feeling well.

I'm here every morning at least so I didn't want to cause anyone to worry. Thanks, dear! :hugs LOL...is it arrogant of me to think peeps might worry about me?
