Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Awesome! I have some 7-week old cochin/silkie mixes. They are finally getting through the really ugly stage.

Good morning! Hope today has dawned bright and beautiful for you all.
I snuck back to bed after seeing DH and DS off for the day and ended up sleeping longer than I planned, oops, so it seems I've wasted nearly half the day away. Up and around now - getting ready to take LDD (Little Dumb Dog) to the groomer.....hate paying someone to do it, but made the mistake of lending my clippers to DD a few weeks back so she could clip her horse and she forgot to bring them back when they visited last weekend and the fluffball NEEDS a haircut. Oh well, it's a good excuse to make a trip to town on my day off - I can get some errands done at least, right?

I say, sometimes your body just tells you when it needs some extra snoozing. I hate the feeling of wasting the day, but hopefully you feel rejuvenated!

Good luck with your errands!

Maybe you'll share a pic of LDD freshly groomed when you get back

Siestas are essential. When i worked in Khartoum, my place was directly across from the office, so I used to retire on a lunchtime and return to the office with "crease marks" on my face from sleeping. - even the security guards could tell when I'd have 40 winks. I used to get back and they'd ask how my sleep went. :)

That's a funny mental image

Do you set an alarm? I mean, the best siestas to me are those ones when you just nod off, and wake up 2 hours later and think "holy moly, I must have dozed for a minute or two"
