Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Badges, badges everywhere, and so good to see them on so many friends! Congrats! Wear them well!

Chris, we'll help as much as we can but if you start going Celsius on us count me out! I was told there'd be no maththththt -

Stupid truck. Stupid wind! Lowest estimate was $3179.00 to get it fixed. Thank you Wyoming Winds. I didn't realize until yesterday when we were in talking to our insurance agent that Ken could have been hurt besides! I wasn't with him when it happened, but apparently as the wind grabbed the door he had just started to open it and had tight hold it because he didn't want to lose his grip. When the wind jerked that door, he was still "attached" and it literally pulled him out of his seat and to the ground! A Toyota Tundra Crew Max and a short man equals a pretty far drop. He has a bit of a bruise on his thigh but no real harm done.
sorry to hear Blooie........good thing he was parked beside a hill!!

Ugh. Same thing happened to my SIL while in Southern Colorado not long after he got his new truck. Pulled into a gas station and the wind ripped the door out of his hand. Luckily he didn't fall, but the repairs were not cheap.

Glad your DH is OK!

No hill. It's flat as can be around here. He just wanted to get it out from under the trees.

It's weird! Doesn't look like that much damage, but wow!! I'm glad he's okay too!
