Stupid truck. Stupid wind! Lowest estimate was $3179.00 to get it fixed. Thank you Wyoming Winds. I didn't realize until yesterday when we were in talking to our insurance agent that Ken could have been hurt besides! I wasn't with him when it happened, but apparently as the wind grabbed the door he had just started to open it and had tight hold it because he didn't want to lose his grip. When the wind jerked that door, he was still "attached" and it literally pulled him out of his seat and to the ground! A Toyota Tundra Crew Max and a short man equals a pretty far drop. He has a bit of a bruise on his thigh but no real harm done.

Ugh. Same thing happened to my SIL while in Southern Colorado not long after he got his new truck. Pulled into a gas station and the wind ripped the door out of his hand. Luckily he didn't fall, but the repairs were not cheap.

Glad your DH is OK!

No hill. It's flat as can be around here. He just wanted to get it out from under the trees.

It's weird! Doesn't look like that much damage, but wow!! I'm glad he's okay too!
 
Well I'm off to a real slow start this morning. But I'll be headed into town ia minute to get wood. Hopely i can finish getting all the fence in today.
Finish building the gates.....then still have to take the wife into town tonight to catch a show.
They are screening some local produced Film at the old Vista theater in Ishpeming. Today is the final day....hope everyone enjoys their day today.......:)
