My eyes were still fuzzy from looking at beard/muff genetics, so I looked too fast at these pics.

I am sooooo in love with that pic.  It sucks sooooo much that there isn't an "other" calendar this year.  That's one of the sweetest pics ever!

Yep, it really sucks! I agree, it is way too sweet! Io just wanted to be a mama soooo bad, lol!

Surprisingly, the photo upload from mobile is one thing that works well for me now, after not working for a year or so. Although, when I do hit the pic icon, I have to scroll to find the upload box, but its there. Just not in the middle of my screen.

He loved the pistol thing. Probably do another one this weekend. I didn't go, ended up working on my coop. For his first time, he placed in the middle of the pack. Shot very well, but a few penalties being a newbie lowered his score. Once he practices some, he'll be hard to beat. There were a bunch of pros there, guys he said he has seen on tv too. It was a USPSA national, I think.

Hey Oz, guess what I just found out? Armand is not full cochin. He's got something else in his background. Had to figure out how/why that chick I posted pics of last night has beard and muffs. Its Armands fault. I can't believe I've posted dozens of pics of him over the last year, and nobody said anything.

So now I guess I give him away as a mix instead of trying to sell him as frizzled cochin.

Are you sure? Have you broke the news to Armand that he's not the man you thought he was? He'll be so devastated! . Put him on the next train south.

I didn't tell him. I think we've determined that he's only carrying one copy of the beard/muff gene, so his non-bearded daughters didn't get it and can be bred to George, my good mottled boy, and still be ok. He's got some very pretty daughters, thanks to Katherine, and since I only have a few of them (3 or 4) I think I'll be ok to use them.

I do like some of the bearded ones though, so I may keep him and them in another pen and see what kind of mixes they make, just for the heck of it.
