Well, I'm selling my 2 lavender orpington cocks on Monday. I hatched those boys, so its a bitter-sweet deal. Was planning to process them this weekend, because 2 of my 11-week olds are getting big enough to replace the older ones now, and I was dreading it. But I got a text yesterday wanting one...... and she decided to take both, since they have lived together since hatch. So Yeah! They are 16 months old and going to a place where they will have 35 hens to share. I hope they continue to share well, and take care of their new girls.![]()
Oh no! Im sorry! Something get him?
Nice turkey eggs! And I did think of chicapee but I don't think she has posted here. Beautiful RPs she has.
Everyone around me does the Apple stuff, but I think I started with the windows stuff to have my spreadsheets, which weren't available on iphones, way back when. Ans I like being different lol! Dont have much fun app choices, but saves me from buying a bunch of crap I don't need anyway. I didn't even have a data plan on my first smartphone, until they forced me.
Happy Friday everyone!!

Freudian slip?Good morning perps...
Visiting with my other son and getting ready for that ride back home.
Me too. Hard to switch from one to the other.I've pretty much been an Android user...
I love a roo story with a happy ending. The first chicks we ever had we hatched out of homemade brooder. Both of them were boys. We kept them in suburbia for as long as we could (about 7 months.) They were totally bonded & it was really hard to not only find a good place, but a good place that would take both of them. We were so grateful to eventually find a good home for them, but it was a heart wrenching experience! Many years & many chickens later, The memory is still very painful. I know DD1 will never completely get over it.Well, I'm selling my 2 lavender orpington cocks on Monday. I hatched those boys, so its a bitter-sweet deal.
