I hate to throw things away so I am expiramenting with using my llama/alpaca sheerings for nesting material. I think they will be good in the winter but I am worried it will be too warm in the summer. Now that's a well insulated nest.
Just candled and pulled 3 eggs. That left her 9 eggs. No idea whose eggs they are and they are at different stages of development so not sure what she will do at hatch time. My hubby actually suggested that I might have to put some in the incubator if she jumps off the nest.So she was just broody! That's great!!![]()
I think I might have the makings of a broody, she didn't get off the box at feeding time this evening.

Less likely to shoot your eye that way?
