Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Sort of... No, didn't think of that.

I have EE but none lay that shade... I do have a 1/2 EE that is 6 mo and hasn't laid yet as far as I know, so she's also a suspect?
Nah, the inner parts were frozen.....

unless you suffer from IBHS, I don't think that is a pullet egg.

But I will say, the difference in the feel of the shell is pretty apparent. Like Ravyn said, they have a waxy feel to the outside of the shell. You will know.

So I feel like a winner. Got bit by a dog at work :/

It NEEDS TO BE QUARANTINE FOR RABIES!

Yeah.... I *think* it feels similar to my duck egg I saved from my previous trio.... Just not sure if my wanting it to be one skewed my senses.

Sounds like a suspect too, lol... still have the shell piece? Shine light through it and see how well it diffuses...

Also, go look at your ducks... females tend to get very 'pouchy' in the vent area and just below it when they start laying...

Apparently not, lol... I seem to remember a big oops I did recently while packing duck eggs...

Ok- yes, I kept half. I'll go do that.

Chrissy looks like she has a "pouch," but I couldn't catch her since they were free ranging in brambles and I didn't have shoes on.... :fl

So maybe???
