Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Yes, light LF. Named after the Campine region of Belgium. Ancestors can be traced back to the time of Julius Caesar who brought some back to Rome. They are quite uncommon with only a few breeders in the US. They have a European cousin, the Brakel who is a bit larger. Good flyers and foragers. Very curious, enjoy humans but don't like to be handled. I got these from Wisher1000.
That's pretty neat that they can be traced back to Julius Caesar.

They are super pretty... but I'm still never gonna forget the one with the special coop tag at the show! :lau

Here's my little BW Ameraucana- Russian Orloff mix. Feathering out blue wheatenish, with spangles. Kind of cool:

It will be interesting to see how it feathers out as an adult.

Morning, from this end folks

Seems my new meatie chicks didn't like being separated from the 4 week olds in the brooder. I found a couple of escape artists this morning with the older chicks, so I removed the divider and let them mingle. Seems they are having a ball! Guess they must have read Chaos' post

And didn't read the rule book about not mixing chicks with large age gaps! :lau
