I found the Ancona were easy to see into until the CAM developed, then they were worse than chickens... Could be candler quality.

My Spitzhaubens were easy to candle, so are the Serama.

Most of the other cream and brown eggs I just look for a rosy glow and call it good until it smells or weeps or hatches.
