Had a similar moment with our "EEs are actually a breed" person today, but I remained civilised

I think that one did another run on the Am thread... haven't looked yet though, don't have enough alcohol stockpiled yet for it...

I know! I guess Ravyn is right, his ego. He needs to go back to math class and learn what 100% means. I'm not sure how you maintain 100% hatch rate with only a few losses.

One of my nearly grown Ayam Cemani dropped dead last night. No apparent reason but at this point it doesn't much matter. It was my fine young pullet.

It appears I really don't have a market here for specialty breeds. I think I will stick with turkeys and a small, well culled layer flock after everything I have has hatched. Plus a few meaties for the freezer.
