I'm up to date and hungry . Fried fish baked fish lobster and crab . My daddy said if it eats my bait I eat it and that's pretty much what we did . Even fresh water eels 'Didn't matter if we had to skin it or scale it we ate it . Guess I'll fry up some chicken for dinner . Told Ben I would this morning . Got the car through emissions only had to wait in line for an hour . Got some groceries and only was gone five hours . Now you guys got me thinking about maybe tomorrow doing some grilled salmon DW loves that stuff . I like beef . But would rather sit down to a big bowl of hocks and beans fried taters and corn bread than the best steak in town . And I sure miss momma's fresh poke salad and eggs .To late for a mess of poke this year but come spring I'll have to cook some up. I sure am hungry

Beans, corn bread n fried taters...Can't beat em. I use my Dutch oven and iron skillets for all! Only difference is I don't use pork. I season with garlic, onion, and beef, venison or goat. A mighty fine pot of beans too!

Nope Peggy and could make jams and jellies out of anything . And the best biscuits in the world . Canned everything we ate when we were young . Our garden was at least an acre every year . If momma cooked it it was good . Even turnips . Different world then our bacon still had the skin. Milk came from the cow bread from the oven . Never thought I'd look back on those poor hard times and miss them but I do . She was the kind that tried to feed you every time you walked in the door . All in all t typical mother form that time . Aunts were the same way .Your saying I ain't hungry and their putting food on the table cause you got to eat something . Yep miss em all . I'm sitting here eating cherry tomatoes like grapes I'm so hungry. And they are really good this year

I just joined a Facebook group for them (noticed @cjwaldon is on). They gave some answers, but I always think of BYC as being the definitive site on all things chicken, so am hoping to get some input from these peeps. I have a love/hate relationship with the "book of the face. "

They sure were out last night when it was full! Yeesh, the customers were crazy last night.

What is your favorite kind of fresh fish?

I don't like fish Or any seafood really. Tried it, doesn't appeal to me. I don't even like shrimp. Even the smell of cooking fish can make me lose my appetite. Ah well, at least I know I'm not contributing to overfishing, lol!

One of the reasons I'm not a member of the AC club I would be if their website had its own forums or something, but with everything on FB, I'm probably not going to join or participate because I just don't do FB.
