Was missing 2 ducks before i left this morning. Bacardi and Malibu, so i figured Malibu was off hiding eggs again.
Spotted Bacardi along the woodline, standing guard, finally saw Malibu behind a tree, the one closer to the center of this pic, on the back side of it.

Went to get the egg when i got home, found an empty, half-eaten shell a few feet from today's egg, so i hope she doesn't go out there again.

November 12-15, but expecting a fairly large baby, so maybe a little earlier.

I check out a few FB chicken groups -- sale groups, or should i say "give away" groups, cause that's all anyone wants. Free ones. Lol! I don't read much of my feed, occasionally look at a few posts. I learned not to answer any chicken questions on there. Too ridiculous.

So not much longer...I'm sure you are so excited!!!!
I just found FB made me nuts.

Ya know, the funny thing is hubby and i never wanted anything to do with FB. Then the girls at work talked him into making a profile so they could inform him of stuff going on at work, thru group messages. My sisters all use it, and my mom started using it, and since she was in AZ at the time, i decided I'd go ahead too. Well he got half way thru the profile creation and said Eff this. I was already done.
I really don't use it much, but it does come in handy sometimes. Found a page that lists when fish stockings are done on our local lake!

She's a pretty girl. And that is a great pic of her looking from behind the tree...

Benadryl makes me sleepy so I don't take it. I did take 4 advil & am trying to drink water. I've read that if you drink 2 full glasses of water your headache will go away (so far that's not working) but I've also read that duck penises will fall off & regrow annually so....

I kept getting terrible headache earlier in the summer. Long story short I had been taking a Benadryl at night to help with my breathing/allergy problems and it was dehydrating me duringn the night. So it was back to good ole Zyrtec and 2 glasses of water first thing in the morning.

You know, my wether was banded when I first got him and I had to rub this salve on his shriveling testicles on a twice daily basis, until it fell off and healed. I was looking forward to it falling off, because I had plans for it, but I came home from work one day and it was off, and I couldn't locate it. The goat pen is not that big.

So, maybe it's not that hard to extrapolate that duck dongs fall off but are never found.

I just have to know, what 'plans' did you have for it?

I grew up on a farm... we had everything from cows, goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits, ducks and geese... and may have forgotten some critters, lol... in college, I did double degree, Zoo Keeping (Animal Husbandry, Biology, Training, etc) and Fine Arts (pottery, specifically)... have had Calls for almost 3 years now, I think? But I spend 24/7 with them and have done/still do extensive research...
