Just got in from doing some major boarding up of the 55 coop. Our neighbor to the back has a trap (he recently got a whole harem of skunks) and my sweet DH said, "We can catch the raccoon and then take him out to Clear creek and release him."

I said, with a badly wounded bird in my arms, "Or kill him."

"Okay," he said.

I need a new hat . Stretch it on the barn door as a warning to others works good

'Al', your hair obsession is just plain old weird. I know shouldn't be surprised.

It is two different things actually:

1. I just think the sex obsessed American culture pushes sexuality on prepubescent children. And I think a big sign of being prepubescent is no hair, and maturity is hair.

2. I am fascinated by genetics. thin build verses wide, square face verses oval, lots of facial hair verses little to none. ..... fascinating.

Well that explains a lot .I'll never be grown up

appologies for continuing the "chest hair" convo... I think it often times has to do with geneology... native american...pacific Islander...European....

yep. Genetics, fascinating.

Me too I saw some genes in some jeans the other day.And you know them genes had my full attention

And hormones.

Yes I still have my birds, roughly around 50! It’s bitter sweet, have had a few losses! But EVE is doing great she’ll always be my number one girl. Lol
