Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

:hit
not good. The wood drake got thru my netting and flew the coop last night. He's gone. I can only hope he sticks near by his girls, but I doubt it. :hit
The others are fine, just scared as chit. This was the dumbest thing I've ever done. Well, lately, anyway.

Oh, no!! :hit :hugs :hugs

He's gone forever, isn't he?

I hope not, but bottom line is that even after many generations of captive breeding they tend to retain their 'wild' nature unlike mallards which even have conformation changes after many generations of captive breeding. The activity and calling of your other birds should bring him back if he is still in the area. :hugs
