They were packed perfectly, I think they treat the cube boxes like balls and whatever side they land on is where they sit till they are moved again. Makes the air cells gravitate too much.

Lost a duck today..... Someone hot it with a car.
Thought at first maybe I did..... But can't figure out how I would not see a duck in the middle of the road...... But after looking at it they weren't my tire tracks...... Think someone going to the neighbors garage sale might have hit it?
I don't know..... It's been about a year since I last lost a duck..... Sad.
Love my ducks.

Hey @LittleLakePhil , I'm really sorry about your duck.

Well, Kewp passed away this morning. I checked on her around 5AM and she was still breathing but pretty much unconscious. By 11, she was gone. RIP sweet Kewp. Sadly, I don't have a pic. Think muffs, beard, partridge game bird coloring; typical farm store EE.

so sorry about the loses! We have gotten to the point up here that we know if we like the chicken, especially like it and name it... guaranteed death sentence. That bad ones live for years.

Actually, it just feels that way, old man Dominique is 3 now, and I really like him. He looks healthy... except his feet... anyone know if the ivermec I used will also kill the scale lice? Or do I actually need to do the soak, bathe, scrub, oil thing?

I was trying to explain my sadness to E last night at dinner. For the thousand ways I am grateful he is not in touch with his feminine side, there are times when I wish he could say something a tiny bit less practical than, "Well, it's not really a surprise. She's been knocking on death's door for a while. Too bad she couldn't go on trash day..."

Seems that way.... The first Duck I lost was Pearl...... She had a white dot on her throat she was Snowballs sister...... My wife thinks it's time to put a duck crossing sign out by the road......is still don't know happened. I hope it wasn't me that accidently got her but I don't see how that would have happened as I would have seen her in the road.
Beginning to think it was someone going to Rauls garage sale.
That would be ironic as out was Rauls dog that killed my first three ducks.
He paid for them though and his dog hasn't killed one since.......

I'm sorry Phil...

The duck that I lost today was SNOWBALL.
My favorite oldest and best duck.
She was the only duck that would let me pick her up. And the only duck who would eat right out of my hand.
Now I'm sure you all have lots of ducks that'll do that.... But I don't haven't the time to train them to be like that she was just comfortable with me...... She was the one who lived through two dog attacks.....View attachment 1348795

I did find something comfortable and nice at Walmart to wear so thats a good thing..

I think on the Crazy Train at the moment but hopefully the next stop is the Peace Train!
