That's a lot of cranes. We get one in a blue moon down here. Always white & always by itself. They are cool birds!

All white down south is usually cattle egrets.... .... at least in Texas.

They're definitely all white. We get them so infrequently I really don't know the difference. I'll have to google it.

We get California Condors occasionally too. First time I saw one I thought it was a vulture. We thought we saw an eagle up in OR... Knowing me, it might have been a pigeon.

Keep everyone on lockdown until you kill it. It will be back now that it's found a source of food, and they have babies to feed now.



The cranes are so cool!

Hubby is setting traps tonight and will be up early to hunt it.

And to add insult to injury something happened with my ramp in the palace and it got sideways in there somehow and the little black Bibbed baby got drowned.
No idea when that happened. I didn't get to come home on my break today like I usually do cause my stupid boss lady parked behind me and went down to the office for like an hour. . during my break time

Then when I got home the power went out For probably 2 hours. . mind you I have eggs in the incubator.
Neighbors come over to talk(my good ones) until the power came back on. . . so it was later than usual before I got out there to check on them.

I only have a minute to talk. . I'm at work. But wanted to tell you guys that Howard was killed by a fox this morning.
Poor brave Howard. He was protecting his girls.

This breaks my heart. He was such a gentleman.
