@chickisoup, last winter for me it was a raccoon that would climb up and eat from the hanging feeder. Beneath on the ground eating what he spilled was an opossum.

I caught another squirrel in my live trap this evening. Lucky for him, I shined my light over there after dark, or his butt would have been frozen to the cage.
Omg this was dead in my yard today. I almost had a panic attack thinking it was a duck at first.. . but couldn't figure how it would have gotten out. Got closer to see what the heck it was. . is it a seagull?? View attachment 1602917 View attachment 1602918
1st time I've ever heard a deer called sexySweet! Sexy beast![]()
That looks like it. I'm in the southwest corner of Missouri so I'm the uncommon range. . but still plausible. My guess from the picture is that it's a herring gull. They're common to uncommon in your area in the winter.
No That was the strange thing Also. I didn't see any blood or anything. It was dirty like maybe the dogs rolled it around after it died? All I can guess is maybe it was just migrating and was old and tired and just died. It's been in the 20s at night lately.Could you tell how it died?
