Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

My biggest concern with chemo is the collateral damage to healthy organs & what it'll take to get them back to where they belong.

My brother, who was eaten up with cancer in the lungs, lymph nodes, kidneys & brain, and maybe liver, too, lost his battle yesterday morning. Just 61 in February. Only two of us left now; me & the youngest sister, coming 65

I'm stil a couple hundred posts behind, but catching up. I'm so sorry Ken, but I'm sure glad you went to see him a few months ago. :hugs

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger; I'm older than you & I've never been to one, either. Nor do I ever plan to be. Wouldn't spend that kind of $ for coffee if I could afford it; not as long as I can make it myself.
Actually, probably me too. Guess it's like a tourist attraction to me or a bucket list thing.

So you guys all remember my cousin's awful boyfriend? The one who stole chicks from me, then killed them through neglect, among other things?

Apparently the other woman who got hired at the same time as me at this clinic is now dating him. I can't get away from him :barnie

I kind of want to warn her, but at the same time, it's not my place, and I don't want to make work awkward if she takes his side.
Oh lord help her.. :th
I don't blame you, that probably wouldn't be a good idea.. hopefully she'll find out on her own and soon!:fl

Well considering that it ended with my cousin having to call the police on him to have him removed from the house because he claimed he was going to commit suicide (he wasn't, it was a manipulation tactic) AND he did the same thing to the girl before her yeah, it's not gonna be pretty. And I feel like I should say something, but again, I don't need to make my workplace really unpleasant for myself.

That's a hard call for sure! Idk, on one hand you'd think she'd want to know, on the other hand, if she's wearing rose colored glasses she may not accept what you say till she sees it herself.. :idunno
I dont envy your predicament ..:hugs

Agree. If at all possible it just might be best to act as tho you don't even know him or at least as a distant acquaintance, then be a support her when the whole thing goes south.
