Unless you think her life is in danger, don’t go there. She will figure things out sooner or later. You know how it will go if you say something, right? You will say what a piece he is, and she’ll get mad and defensive and things will be awkward. Unless she shows up with bruises or shows other signs of abuse, just be ready to commiserate with her once she sees the light.

Here's the even more awkward part - I DID kind of tell her already. That's not just stuff I bring up randomly of course, it came up because after all this went down, he abandoned his dogs with my cousin. One of them, a toy poodle, ended up going to my uncle. So he came into work with his dogs one day and it came up about how he ended up with her.

So she knows. I even said his name, just his first name though. So either she isn't putting two and two together, or he's spinning some other version of events and she believes him.

I did not say anything about what he did to me and my birds, though.

And with all the advice you guys have given me, yep, I'm gonna just keep my mouth shut for now. Thanks all!
 
Coffee means zilch to me. I'm a caffeine free diet Coke drinker. If I can't get that or a reasonable facsimile I will drink water or nada. My brother is a coffee addict but will
choose from his list of favorites. He hates Star _ ucks, use your imagination, with a passion. Says it tastes bitter & burnt. He likes Kona & a few others.
