Agree. If at all possible it just might be best to act as tho you don't even know him or at least as a distant acquaintance, then be a support her when the whole thing goes south.

So you guys all remember my cousin's awful boyfriend? The one who stole chicks from me, then killed them through neglect, among other things?
Apparently the other woman who got hired at the same time as me at this clinic is now dating him. I can't get away from him
I kind of want to warn her, but at the same time, it's not my place, and I don't want to make work awkward if she takes his side.
Unless you think her life is in danger, don’t go there. She will figure things out sooner or later. You know how it will go if you say something, right? You will say what a piece he is, and she’ll get mad and defensive and things will be awkward. Unless she shows up with bruises or shows other signs of abuse, just be ready to commiserate with her once she sees the light.Well considering that it ended with my cousin having to call the police on him to have him removed from the house because he claimed he was going to commit suicide (he wasn't, it was a manipulation tactic) AND he did the same thing to the girl before her yeah, it's not gonna be pretty. And I feel like I should say something, but again, I don't need to make my workplace really unpleasant for myself.
Me too and I make myself an occasional "fancy" coffee as my DH calls it. Even have an espresso machine somewhere. No room for it on the counter....is Folgers in yer cup!
I usually take coffe from home in a to go mug when I head out anywhere..![]()

Hi all! Welcome to Monday on steroids
Not going to get much done today. Already been put on hold to the dr's office then wound up having to leave a message for the triage nurse and now waiting for the call back. In the meantime I am also waiting for my bank to contact me about how to stop a so-called nonprofit from taking MORE unauthorized funds from my bank account. (too long to share)
Oh no.. Im so sorry @kwhites634I'm stil a couple hundred posts behind, but catching up. I'm so sorry Ken, but I'm sure glad you went to see him a few months ago.![]()
