See what you can do about the weather out that way today, if you can. Son left here about 9 this morning, headed that way. Taking the toll road, trying to avoid snow in Indiana.

He was here a day short of 2 weeks, deer hunting with me. The older I get, the harder it is to say goodbye. Now I start counting down to Summer, when he'll be back for a week.

You ain't done yet . One more fish to catch one more deer to skin.

Morning Pondites ....Okay little thing I learned in Juneau take the salmon place on foil add seasoning garlic, butter and dill, pepper a touch of salt fold to seal place in dishwasher run simple wash fish is done to perfection

Really My dish washer eats salmon .

WOW Don't think the DH would appreciate that too much. He's the dishwasher!

when you're on a budget and need a camel for the Christmas pageant

. Would that be as hard to clean as candle wax out of the alter carpet in a Catholic church ?

I'm not sure how I managed to run out of kitty litter, but I did. Costco on a sunday, 9 days before Christmas is no place for a sane person. Of course they had no kitty litter.
By now you guys probably know I'm an obsessive compulsive bedding washer. With the dryer broken I havent washed my bedding in FIVE days. It took every ounce of will power I had to not buy new sheets & blankets at Costco today.

I'm taking my frustrations out on a giant bag of bulk potato chips.

...I just re-read my post & if you read it fast it looks like I'm an obsessive compulsive bed wetter.

PetSmart has no cat litter either … Is everyone giving Scoop Away as gifts this year? I wish someone would give me a bag.

Ain't got none. House break the cat . They make a potty training kit for cats, or teach it how to use a shovel reckon I better cook all the cat talk is making me hungry

My back is hurting big time . Going to the orthopedic surgeon in the morning . Still can't make my mind up to have the surgery . Wife wants me to go with a chiropractor first . Just keep putting that off . Her insurance changes at work after the first of the year . The one I like is almost fifty miles away . It is just to far .The one close she recommended. won't take Medicare . Well he will as a secondary ins . So I wait . The numbness got better then came back . Not as bad as it first was. But is still very annoying . My Ben wants to eat I better go . Even left overs are a lot of work . He will not eat cold food .

I agree. How does recovery affect your care for Ben? Will you need to look into some sort of long term or residential care for him?

Ugh! I am working on year-end bookwork for the farm, using Quickbooks and right in the middle of entering a transaction, the program just shut down and wouldn’t open again! Then the computer froze up and I can’t get it to do anything - not even shut down. I am computer illiterate - this kind of stuff scares me. I hope I don’t lose all my work!
