Winter Storm warning for us starting tomorrow . Only 4-6” of snow expected, but lots of wind. Our high today was -5.

Basically the same for us starting round 6 pm tomorrow night except so far it's more snow but probably less wind. Supposed to snow here until Saturday night.

Yes They are very large birds. Well, as far as chickens go; here, they have no chance of being the biggest birds on the farm, haha.

It looks like GFF imported just a mixed variety. I'm not sure that the breed really comes in distinct colors, since when they were bred I think they were just concerned about size and fighting. From pictures I think I see the roosters mostly being birchen and blue birchen. If there's a color I really like in the ones that hatch I might try to perpetuate it.

Only rule that I can find is that they need to have gray to black skin and legs. Yellow is not allowed.
