Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Howdy pond paddlers .This hasn't been a fun weekend .:hmmBasketball lost a true legend and my heart breaks for his family. Then Ben has ear infections again.
Better today but last two nights have been hard.He won't let me put droos in his ears.Mom yes me no.He will take anything liquid on a spoon.Doctors try to give him capsules .It takes four hours for a capsule to desolve in water.Or pills so big I have to cut them up ,crush them use a big spoon to get him to take it.And they are wrapped in cellulose. I have to pick that out.Sooooo just another weekend in paradise. :th

You know he started having kids at 12 right :lau
Thats why his momery is gone
I like that! It is the kids fault! :lau

To make things worse... I just started to watch a movie, wondered why the sound was odd... hadn't plugged the headphones into the jack.

Not sure what is going on with me this week....

Maybe Ben's ear infection got over here and is scrambling my brain. (sure hope he gets better soon!)

So, you don’t speak to your mother, and it’s her ex in-laws that your mom is friends with? Do either of you have contact with any of those people? If not, I wouldn’t worry about it.

I don’t know how your kids feel about it, but that’s something you’ll have to work out with them.
Im not really worried about it.... more about my boys... but even then it's their problem not mine.
Chris left me..... she didn't allow me to help her.

Sorry brother......:hugs

Well good golly...

Saturday morning I dropped my phone in the parking lot of the coffee shop... and was none the wiser, until someone came in 3 hours later waving it about asking whose it was.

Then that same Saturday afternoon I paid my bill by check, was very slowly leaving, when someone called my name because I had left my checkbook at the teller....

Today on my last errand (I had a long list), as I walked to the car I thought "dang is my neck cold" and looked down and wondered where my scarf was.

Luckily I KNEW that I had started the day with it on (I am not always aware of what I am wearing), but that meant I had to redo errands until I found it.

Sheesh! I loose hats and gloves all of the blasted time! But a scarf? A nice big one? :th
Maybe the cold has frozen your brain.

I do that with glasses all the time .Even though they are progressive .I still can't read with them .So they end up on store shelves all the time .I can a rabbit at a mile away cross the road without glasses ,can't read a road sign at two car lengths without them.
My glasses are the one thing I won’t misplace. They go on my face before I open my eyes in the morning, and don’t come off until I’m

Won’t his docs prescribe liquid meds for him? That’s crazy! I hope he feels better soon.

Yep - it’s their problem if they can’t deal with it. They may have a hard time with it at first, but hopefully they’ll come around.
