Met with a friend in our separate cars in the church parking lot, at least 6 ft apart. But she did give me this little welcome sign.

A guy in front of him had a samurai sword strapped to his back. DH was staring at it & analyzing the risk factors, when it started to rain.

So is gonna be a few before i can get the boat out... still got ice on the lakes.

Dude that is amazing .We are dry and a heavy thunder storm about to hit.Ice to thin for fishing?I spent half the morning killing fire ants.So warm here heay thick moss on the stock pond .Haven't been to the quarry. Don't know what it looks like. Just try and stay bussy. Not a problem Have to feed the goat and Ben .They get real vocal about food.

It's a 1970s stained glass window. This house has all kinds of dated stuff that we decided should just stay. Just inside that door is the entryway that has cedar shake roofing material on the walls and bricks on the floor. Character.

I walked again today... I had to stop a bit less often on the up hill bit... so hurrah to me.

Here is a today picture... this bit of driveway has some dirt, but if you look down the slope,most of the driveway is still ice and snow

I love houses like that!

It's definitely grown on us.
It was the only house we looked at that wasn't stucco and white everywhere (this was 16 years ago when we had youngin's who weren't going to keep anything white for long). It was built by a guy in the lumber industry - wood everywhere, and mercifully no one decided to paint over it!

tht's the way our place looked a week ago. All but the most stubborn drifts are mostly gone now but supposed to get a fresh load of snow over the next several days with the potential for a big blow at the beginning of the week. Still have ice on most of the lakes but it's weakening fast. One really good sustained wind and we should have ice out.
