Went to sell more chickens and some goats Saturday. Thought I was gonna see a killing.The place is one of the worst organized sale barn I ever been to .No set traffic pattern .So one threatened another because he was there first .He just got really upset .guy was just a big jackass about the whole thing .Think maybe I might get me a carry permit .One thing I can't stand is someone making threats to someone as old as me ,and half thier size .Those are the ones get shot around here .And here something as simple as shaking your finger ,at someone can be considered a threat .With the right lawyer anything is possible.Heck of a thing when the sheriff tells your lawyer that what you did wrong ,was not finish the job .Not to me but my brother ,My attorney after talking to the sheriff.Told brother he needed a attorney from that county .Cost him fifty thousand but all he got was ten years probation.That county is next to the county the sale barn is in .Truth is fellow needed killing .Brother didn't come to get me knew I wouldn't let him take a gun .Brother didn't need to be the one doing the killing .Dumdass was hitting him with the gun and it went off .Guns aren't toys .Got another brother you couldn't pay me to go hunting with.No respect for gun safety. No that as the population grows so grows crime .And as inner city property grows more valuable .Poor people are squeezed into smaller and smaller space .Crime increases and putting half million dollars homes next to slums is asking for trouble.Was the security guard killed in Michigan the first covid 19 related murder?

If you have "predation losses" of livestock from wolves you can file a claim with the state and get a reimbursement for the loss for market value, sort of, but the DNR has to do an investigation to verify it was wolves first of course. Only because they're officially an endangered species. If it's from a bear etc. you're out of luck. Not sure about cougar. They've only recently publicly admitted they're back even tho we've had at least one hunting our area every winter for years. Don't see him/her in the summer ever tho it does occasionally get spotted crossing a field in early spring.
Didn't hear about that, I wonder if Phil knows anything about it? I've had a concealed carry permit for a while, made sure I got one as soon as they became legal a few years ago under our rep gov. (just in case) but we have a new dem gov and he's trying to change all the regulations for applying and holding even for those that already have them.
