we feel the same way!! Daughter and I decided to cook a turkey breast instead of a whole bird--it will just be our usual 6 plus the new grandson if he ever wants to come out to see his Nana!
 
BTW... couldn't find our heating pad....

And the heat lamp plus chick heat panel trip my breaker (nothing wrong with the items.. that breaker just has always refused to carry much load)

So... just ordered a new heating pad, a fancy more durable pet grade one....

Anyway... take home...

We have "Chicken in a Box"!

Remember almost dead chicken? Anyway, she looks fine now... but I refuse to put her out without heat... and the chicks need more heat if they are going to share with the hen.....

So, "Chicken in a Box"!

Yep, she is in the schoolroom... stinky... wish I had a bag of pdz (none in town)... huh... maybe I could find an edible cat litter?

I had to run errands today & the tension out there is palpable. I smiled at somebody in the parking lot & I swear they growled at me. Instagram was sheer ugliness too. Luckily I’m smart enough to stay far away from FB for a while. I’m glad BYC‘ers are generally behaving themselves.

I think people need to be reminded how fortunate we are to be able to vote, even if we hate the end result. Imagine living under a dictatorship or a child king....
 
The guy here from Red no mask had a celebrate party last night no mask said he won the governorship of the state he was beat 2 to 1 there is no question here we have had mail ballots like 12 years or close... We will be home rest of the week then all said should be done
