I’m never going to be able to handle it when my kids start traveling by themselves. Especially if they’re leaving the country. DD1 was a couple days away from receiving a summer scholarship to Germany when covid hit. I felt so bad for her, but so relieved for me.

I’m not ready. So far covid has delayed things & for that I’m grateful. DD1 is now talking about applying for a short internship this summer in VT.

I will cry & cry & cry & there will be no one here to mother me. I will have to bring my own water into the car & remember to bring my own snacks & mask & eat before I leave the the house.
