How did you find it? I have been trying to use the search, in all different ways using "why-did-my-fish-die" and got no results. Wondering if the older threads are accessible by search and what I am doing wrong. Couldn't find granny's old thread either using the search.

I went to my watched threads and it was there.

But i actually just checkef and the border collie post and most of my posts before like 2015 aren't there.

It does have ones from 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, but not many, definitely not all of them, and also a lot of the ones in watched aren't my posts.

I mean, it doesn't matter much cause those are really old, mostly dumb posts hahah but still, there's like no old ones

Oh my goodness, it just clicked in my brain what you meant! Nevermind my previous reply on the subject, I think that USB plug thing is the only way to get that.

Haha, no problem. Maybe you can tell me what a "showcase" item is? That's new. I didn't browse a lot on BYH so maybe that's why I'm clueless on it. It's under preferences.

I keep "unwatching" this thread and it puts me back at Watch This Thread again and sending emails against my will, ack! NVM, I fixed that in preferences. Thought I had but it checked the box again.

It does. Not that you would mind not being labeled as chicken obsessed - you always did deny it. I still don't believe you.

I'm not totally sure, but I think the showcase items are the same as the breeds and supplies section on the old site, where you could post reviews on things. I haven't tested that out much because I never really messed with that section in the old site, either.

Thank you! Makes sense that they are still working on the search. I was in a little panic thinking that an old thread would be lost.
Seems there are several places to check or uncheck that you don't want email. I have tried to fix them all. Mostly working now.

If you are worried about it you could take some away and mark the ones you want to keep. Whenever she lays new ones just take them away. Eventually her instincts will kick in and she will start sitting on them. Is this her first time being a broody?

On the old BYC, I had 2,500 likes, why is it showing 806 now?

On the old BYC, when someone with a lot of badges, Staff or other clout, gave you an ovation, you got extra ovations added. This is not being carried over here, so all those "extras" have been removed, hence your lower ovation count. So now here on the new BYC, when you get a "Like", it's 1 like.
