According to another member:

"Sour can sign in, he just isn't allowed to post. He gets a notice that says that the forum can't contact him through his email, so what he's allowed to do is restricted. It suggests a different (valid) email . . . but that one is valid"
I bet he has the 2 step verification turned on @Nifty-Chicken ?

I've had my primary 'worked fine before' email go 'invalid' when a forum changes platforms(not BYC tho).
Can be a glitch... or a virus/bot protection system on either end or inbetween.
Sometimes you get notice of bounce-back, sometimes you get literally nothing.
Had to use my secondary eddress for BYH.
Hope he figures it out...did see post from him the other day, was a new one and I was glad to see him.

Still trying to figure out this site...I have a question about my orpingtons...if I mix colors like blue ORP roo on buff hen can I still call them purebred orps?

I am not a breeder and only have hatchery mutts, but would guess no?

:welcome so glad to have you join us.
You should post an intro under the New Members forum to get a proper welcoming...
and Trophy points for doing one :)

Sour doesn't have a secondary email. When he describes himself as a technophobe, he ain't kidding - I had to do some major hand-holding to get him his avatar (a real case of the blind leading the blind, believe me!)

I suggested deleting any old, junk emails on his email account, to see if a less cluttered inbox might make his account less likely to "bounce."

Welcome to BYC!

I would think that 'Blue Orp over Buff Orp' would be the correct terminology for that crosses offspring.

Best to 'Post New Thread' in the General breed discussion forum
