Holy cow! That is one fantastic coop! Lots of space and full of functionality, and can only be built in 3 hours? OMG! Please post your coop in BYC's coop section! We would love to see how you built it.

Those are very neat ideas - interlocking gate, bucket nest boxes, feeder(I need to know how you did that! Seriously!), and lots more. Your chickens sure are in paradise. Congratulations!

Why is it everybody else can do cool projects like this in a few hours, but when I decide to do something similar, I spend ALL DAY...and then it usually doesn't turn out right! WAAAA! Your coop is swell, BTW

Thanks for the ideas! I have a large dog run coming from the out-laws. Their dog died. I also have a ton of buckets around here too. I still have 2 months or so before it needs to be complete, so cruising hte forum for inexpensive ideas.

That is darn creative! Kind of like a Macgyver version of a chicken coop. How did you attach the metal panels to the side and roof?
