I don't know if you want to travel, but I am in southern Maine and have adult welsh harlequins for sale. I have been breeding them for 6 years now so they have many more traits and qualities other than just egg production.

Shipping for adults is more expensive for a few reasons:
1. The boxes to ship them in are much large, take up more space
2. They are much heavier. A box of 10 newly hatched ducklings will weigh about 4-6 pounds, vs a box with 1 adult which will weigh close to 10-15 pounds. And I've noticed with the PO price increases dramatically if you go over 6 pounds.

I can ship adults and would be happy to give you a shipping quote if you'd like. I just quoted one person for 1 adult WH drake to somewhere in NY and shipping is about $20 priority, $30 express (not including the shipping box which is about $7 for one bird)

I agree, posting an ad on Craigslist is a good idea. Just state that you're looking for Welsh Harlequin adults.
