Welsumers not laying eggs

My Welsumer hens have just about stopped laying eggs. Is the breed known to stop laying eggs early on in winter?

The breeder I bought mine from told me they are seasonal layers. I have five and only 1 is still laying about every other day.

Yes they will stop laying in the winter.

My LF Welsummers lay from end of Jan to beginning of Feb to the end of Sept to end of October so that is good production going on. Got one that is going to be four years old, lays every day.

They are not known to be winter layers unless you equip with lights during the winter time.

I have 2 wellie girls. One has quit completely, but she is also molting as she has no tail feathers. The other girl, Cleopatra, is still laying every other day.
