Welsummer bantam sitting on duck eggs

Pics
I have been out to check the eggs and one egg was pushed aside with a Dead duck inside. I can hear the other egg clicking inside and I've taken it away from Jemima. I'm worried that maybe she damaged the other egg somehow and I'm not sure what to do with the last remaining egg. Is there anyway I can keep it warm inside the house I don't have an incubator

It was cracked down the side length ways and the hole is quite big. It has broken my heart, shall I put the last egg back with Jemima, I can hear it pipping and squeaking inside.

Don't question a bird that is literally bred to raise young birds. Relax and let nature take it's course. if you keep meddling this much YOU could be the one that causes issues.

That is true, some are rotten parents, but constantly messing with the eggs, taking them out, putting them back in, out over night, back in, at best can just stress the momma out or do something bad to the egg

edit, if he's in THAT much of a hurry, since the thing already broke through the shell, just finish the job for it, whack it with a hammer a few times grab a wing or by the beak and yank that little brat out!! Yell at him for being late and put him in front of the dinner plate and remind him that there is a think behaviorial line between being in front of and ON the dinner plate :)
Oh my, that was unnecessary

She crept out with mum and had a swim (in my best Denby plate) and a look around and met aunties Henrietta and Georgette through the wire 😍.
