Welsummer experts...

She is about 18 weeks.I have three welsummer pullets and have just noticed some feathers up near the comb. Is this normal with wellies? Take a peek.. seem to be tiny feathers sticking up on both sides of the comb.

My welsummer does not have that.

None of my 3 have any sticking up feathers by the comb (and all three had much larger comb/wattles at that age)

I have about 15 Wellie girls, I've never noticed it.... Will check this morning when I let them out. Maybe just a bad hair day?
Or, something mixed in, maybe a full pic?

All three of my girls have it! Here is a shot of all three girls.. bad quality though.. darn cell phone. Sorry, they are about 17 weeks. I was off by a week.

I checked the girls, quite a few have the pointy upwards 'do. These are hatchery girls. I'm not too worried, as they are real sweet, and give me eggs like crazy! Must be a new fashion statement...
