We're all hatchin'! Congrats, everyone!

I have the 2 that pipped this morning getting out of their shells, but none of my others have even pipped, and it's been like 12 hours since the first pip....

My 10 little fuzzy butts!

Five Delawares from Tracy/shortcake1806's eggs, & five Rhode Island Reds from a friend/local poultry farmer. (He sold them to us for breakfast but I stuck 6 in the 'bator)

Thanks! I'm so thrilled to have any being a newcomer to hatching. Is it okay for them to eat a lot of bugs right away?

It will be warmer under our carport tonight than in our house (they are under a light either way, but outside will be less drafty and warmer overall). I just checked on them and they are hopping around pecking all the insects that are attracted to the light-do I need to keep them inside? They might not get any sleep tonight outdoors!
