Werewolf attack...

My neighbor has a donkey and the coyotes eventually get used to them I have a mating pair of yotes that come into the forest behind my property. I hear them when they make a kill. And Rachel, your .22 is enough to take out a coyote. That is what I have too. Works well.

but the donkeys never get used to them as long as the donkeys have range of the coyotes they will never get past them

A .22 will do if it's all you have, but a .22 magnum is better, while a .223 is even better. I've used the .22 magnum to kill coyotes/fox/ground hog/possum/skunk/armadillo out to 125 yards. I keep one above the front door.

OK, so craziest thing, ever, my hen, Edna is back! The monster didn't get her after all!!!

She came walking up the road tonight, and I coaxed her back in the pen and then the coop.
She has a pretty nasty wound on her hind end (looks like someone tried to get a bite out of her, and almost succeeded) but I think some rest and neosporin and she may make a full recovery!
It's like a chicken miracle!!! I never expected to see her again.
I have the .22 loaded and have all of them inside, including cats and dogs and chicks!!!
