What’s In A Name?

Pics
Mine is rather boring. Overo (my preferred Paint horse pattern) and Mare because I'm a woman.

Also prefer mares to geldings. 😁
My aunt and uncle bred beautiful paints in Big Piney, WY for several decades. A couple of years ago they sold it all and moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ. They’re both getting older now and he has health problems.

I currently have only one mare and five geldings.

I have and am many different things in many different places and times. I have been ObNoXiOuS, and I am still _NoX_. I have owned a sixdaemonbag. I am harmful, even downright fatalifeaten. Once I became a cursing flasher in the OG blinky html days. I dance with Sundragons, I'm Chaotically Creative. I have dined with a Mechanical Dragon. And here, good folk, I am known as the AZ Urban Clucker. I am all of these things, and yet, none of them really tell the whole story.
This. Is a very classic begining evolution of a torysteller!

(Shuffles some dirt clods around with feet as I ponder what to share).....
I have been IRL that which became the online nickname I was given back in the BBS haydays of the GreatLakesFreeNet.
Since 92/93 variations of an electric monk has been my "Nom deTron" as related to the feather as a pen updated for this medium back then....

I do still use another IRL nickname as a user ID in a few forums thru the decades when my "Nom deTron" has been already taken by some other user.

Electric = this medium we communicate within. Spelled with a "Y" since 1996 when my 1st yahoo email ID was already used by someone else with the "i" so, electryc it became... And subsequently stayed.
Monk = given that back then I was too often referred to as an old soul and wiser then my years.....
Thus Electryc_Monk has stayed.....
Always interested in philosophy astronomy, technical side of theatre and history, science and technology, as well as anything with wheels. As the term social media became the norm I had already amassed a multitude of ID'S on stuff like friendster, Aol messenger, myspace, live journal (and dead journal), and tribe.net (ironically where I met my Better-half)....

There are many, other details, layers and flavors to take note of from this dual purpose life (online and *off*)... Many forums as well; all manner of vehicles, tractors, here(obviously), and weather too.

As you may have accidentally noticed:

my taste for the haiku,
since '98, abounds here...
Even it's own thread.

I tend to maintain a single avatar - like a mailbox on a street.
So know this if you root around, the hints you will see are in plain sight.
Occasionally "electronic" folks I have come to meet.
Non have ever felt a fright;
Though most complimented,
Time and again - g33k.

I see you also have a tongue dipped in silver. :)

black_cat is my username on other sites and I like black cats. It's not very exciting, I'm afraid.
I also HAVE a black cat. His name is Duncan. He's very fat.
