What’s In A Name?

Pics
My name came after an adult conversation after some adult beverages.
It started with Cluck You. Then we thought it was hilarious to come up with others.
Mother Clucker
You are Clucking Crazy
Clucking Family
Etc.
It ended with :
You and the whole Clucker Family

CluckerFamily just had to be my name for BYC!
While i was thinking about a username »WhatTheDuck« - but thought it would be too offending. Little did i know about the humour and the attitude of the people here… :ya

The mysterious "azygous" means "not one of a pair". It's a medical term having to do with veins. I chose it long ago when I got my first computer and needed a user name. I figured the meaning was apt to my personal circumstances, since I'm a single entity.
Well, it’s very ingenious and I like that. Thank you for answering the “call.”;)

As a kid my playground was the Sourland Mountain. I was never heard to say, "There's nothing to do." There was always something for me to do there. It also became the kennel name for my dogs.

I had so much hope for this name to be attached to you in other ways

:lau :lau :lau :lau :lau

A root account nowadays means (almost) nothing anymore, i have plenty of those on virtual machines and they can always be overruled by the (now) almighty hyper-visor admin.
Meaning: Whatever you are doing as root, the admin can throw you out and shut down your machine and you are powerless…

Agree, but back in the day it was very much "Bow before me, for I am root." Even back then though, if you gave me physical access to a machine, it was MY machine. No matter how you harden it to keep remote attackers out, the guy standing at the console is always the biggest threat.
