what’s up with her beak?

hey there, not an emergency but curious about my australorp’s beak.

does it require medical attention? i can’t imagine it’s comfortable eating with an “underbite” like that.
she doesn’t seem to be in pain, but i know animals often hide their pain.
i’ve never had a chicken with beak issues before, so i’m curious. thank you

It may interfere with her ability to eat. I'd trim back the lower beak with a pair of dog nail clippers. Only trim back to just before the quick.
