What’s up with my Ameraucana?

My fiancé and I bought several Ameraucana of different colors together a while back. They all supposedly came from the same batch. But as they are growing older they all look exactly like an Ameraucana EXCEPT one. We have one who is very fuzzy, and almost reminds me of a Silkie! Is this normal! Will she feather out normally later on? Her siblings have all feathered out as they should be, yet she is a complete oddball. I have attached some pictures of her. What are your thoughts? We are planning on hatching future chicks later, should we not use this chicken because of her weird feathering?

She does look like a silkie in the feathers but an anerucana on body type. Maybe a cross between the two?

There is such a breed as an Silkied Ameraucana ... They are rare, having a mutated gene. You got lucky. There was an article when the first was discovered and the owner posted the oddity on the forum, asking. There's several trying to continue the breeding program but it's quite complex. Do a search in the forum for Silkied Ameraucana or even on the internet. Also known as SiAM, they are not a cross between Silkie/Ameraucana but a true breed, mutated gene.

Except this bird has a wrong leg color. And the other birds in the same pictures are easter eggers.

Actually none of our chickens are Easter Eggers. And we know the person that we bought the chicks from and they don’t have Silkies. Her picture doesn’t do her legs correct color justice. She has a blueish/greenish tint on her legs.

and if it was a silkie cross it would have an extra toe right? I believe that is a dominant trait/gene.

to the OP, what country are you in? some breeds have different characteristics in different countries and that info may shed some light on what may be going on.
