What’s wrong with my duck?

this is what I have for tube feeding but the tube itself is too soft and has weird openings so i cut a piece of oxygen hosing for it instead or aquarium hosing can work and then i softened the end using a little heat near it from a lighter so it wont scrape the throat. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08RHDVBB9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I used Kaytee baby bird food mixed into warm water to make a slurry to feed her with the tube
(I once had to tube feed a runner duck for a few weeks )
Even if you dont use it now its good to have in your first aid kit

Thankyou! So I gave her a warm bath with the Epsom salt and coconut oil, but now the oil hardened on her feathers, and she is cold. Did I do something wrong?! Will she be okay.

So I looked at my tractor supply and they don’t sell Kaytee, can I use the feed we use now?(layer feed) or is there somthing else I should look for?

you can make a mash out of any feed really even the layer feed but I would want to stop using that feed because of the calcium , although it's not as much calcium as the extra supplements were.

I’m so sorry to ask so manny questions! But I just saw a video of someone tube feed and they put a tube all the way down the ducks throat into the crop before injecting it. Is is this what I will have to do?!

yes it goes in six inches . I put a mark on my tube at six inches so i knew where to stop. and I used olive oil to lubricate it. it is scarey the first few times but gets easier.look at the pics in this you can see the airway pipe in the middle that is what you dont want to put it in ..
