What age can I deworm my chicks?

BTW, diatomaceous earth *might* help deter things like mites, but I don't think it would do much for worms. Diatomaceous earth can actually irritate a chickens lungs, so I don't use it. And you shouldn't use Diatomaceous earth as a treatment. It won't help if they are already infested. ;)
 
Ok thanks for letting me know do you have any recommendations on good natural deworming or any dewormer in general

I've never seen any evidence of my flock having worms and thus have never looked into deworming.

I live quite close to a farm store and would be able to purchase an approved dewormer should I ever discover that my flock actually *had* worms. :)

I'm not big on DE. It's a respiratory irritant.
