What age did your roo start to crow???

I can't believe the age difference in crowing.

I gather that the EEs take the longest to mature it seems like. Also a single roo will start later then one that has another roo to compete with. Very interesting stuff here.

Thank you for the pics that some of you posted, love looking at everyones chickens.

I've got two BR roos that are 9 weeks and for about the last 4-5 five days one of them keeps making an attempt after I let them into the run in the morning.
It's usually once I start walking back to the house and I'll hear the hideous croaking sound and one of them will have his neck all stretched out with his head kinda jutting forward.

It's hilarious now but I can't wait for the real thing!
 
Our first rooster(who is now 5mths old) roo'd for the first time at just under 3 months...I was walking out to let them out for the morning with the cam on as I wanted to catch him charging at me all puffed up(too cute) and he roo'd!
