What age did your rooster crow?

Lucky! You know for sure, iv'e got to wait and see.
Mom is barely half the size of my LF no clue why it is a hatchery mystery. Dad is LF, these kids are way smaller than the LF hen hatches so it is looking hopeful!

Mine will be a macho midget cuz he will have 12 standard ladies!! Plus, his 3 Cochin “sisters” and 1 Silkie “mama”

It took six months for Negan to crow and even then he'd hide in the coop to do it really quietly.
Come to find out my hens were beating the turds out of him when he did it, so he'd go hide his shame.
Must have been good for him though.

Thank you, he's such a good rooster.
The boy loves raisins I took him a couple out and watched him give them away one by one.
I waited until the ladies walked off only then did he eat one.
Such a good guy, better than a lot of actual dudes.

Aaaawww, that is so sweet! I hope so bad that I have a good one! I hear so many great stories about wonderful roos on here... so I’m hopin and prayin! I make sure to interact with him often too..
My RIR is my leader and if I am petting and hugging “her” ladies too much she will peck me ... so then I have to remind her who is REALLY the boss

The RIR I cannot help with, you cannot reason with the devil birds lol!
Little guy though, just treat him well that is all iv'e ever done.
I do tell him he's a good rooster in a god awful cheery voice every day.
I figure he's like any other male, praise can only make things better.

Well, I actually love my Ruby.. she has been a very good and fair leader... not a bully... but I’ve integrated 7 so far and 3 more to go.. so she has been a bit grouchy lately
