What am I?

If there is a chance of a hen ... then "she" is one aggressive baby right now. "She" doesn't put up with much & is one of my suicide bombers. I pray for a hen.

I sound like a broken record today.

Forgive my ignorance ... what is penciling? I've search through the posts but not sure if it has something to do with the comb or chest.

My Dark Brahma Hen Posy

Penciling is what the color on the feathers that (Dark Brahmas) have. Penciling is in other breeds as well.

As for the aggression, that doesn't mean that you have a rooster. One of my Dark Brahma hens tackled my poor little Old English Game Bantam the other day, which is now in the house with a swollen eye. It is really just the personality of the bird.
