what an idiot..

lol, thaiturkey, i haven't heard that one till now. my sister left hers out in the rain all night and hers survived..

i can see why phones aren't water proof yet. they make a lot of money off us klutzy people.

I made the mistake once of putting a couple of eggs in my pocket, forgetting that my phone was in there. Eggs broke on the phone

new phone was expensive. Rice didn't work that time.

I once got an sms saying, 'Dropped my 'phone from pocket into bucket of water while washing car. This is my temporary number'.

My reply was, 'Many thanks for the information. Who are you?'

'Twas my son. Must run in the family.

I ruined mine and went and got a prepaid and changed out sim cards if it don't work for you at least you would still have a phone. I have att/cingular whatever they go by nowadays....and you have to get the same company phone.

My daughter carries her phone on her shirt in her pocket and drops it all the time,so i buy her a clip on cell phone case.
But she never uses it.

Its such a easy simple thing yet most people don't use one and phones get dropped in water.

I was coming home from the 4 H fair once. I had my phone in a storage compartment in my truck-right about the cup holder. I had bought a root beer float from my daughter's club. It had no lid. When I hit the brakes, the phone slid out of the compartment right into my float.

It didn't work after that.

(And the float was no good either. I knew where that phone had been.)

Naw, what got me was having the phone in my pocket and then going to the loo. I didn't even realize anything was wrong until I heard it scattering on the nasty floor.... did that a few times... and then there was the plop... and that's when I quit putting my phone in my pocket.

I dropped my first phone on the ground out in the backwoods when someone noticed it we had already ran over it. still worked tho.. Good thing, didnt have $600 to replace it. Miny laptop phone.

Second phone went swimming once a week... It lasted about a year an a half. My new one is on a belt clip + insured.
