The only problem with big chickens is the big feed bill. After buying feed I swear I am only going to breed bantams lol.

Malays are super tall and look especially like a traditional dinosaur, but are game birds best kept in pairs, they don't do so well with other breeds. Too aggressive.

Most roosters do ok and won't kill each other if they are kept in a bachelor's pad and are the same age,from the same clutch. But with these Games, all bets are off.
I've seen some as young as two or three weeks old having play battles. And at 2 months old, they would fight to the death but aren't equipped to kill each other yet. Everything can be fine for weeks, you drive to town and come back in a couple of hours, and you find 2 or 3 of them bloodied from head to toe, barely alive and leaning on each other like professional boxers. Then one backs out of the clench, squares up, puts is head down, then they go at it for 30 seconds before leaning on each other again. Some Games just refuse to give up, ever. It's what they were bred to be like. And some hold a grudge. Unless you pen them separately they can fight for days when young, but when older one usually winds up dead.

I currently have a Shamo cockerel, I was told that his dad is around 3 feet tall and 13 or so lbs. I'm hoping mine will grow up to be as big but for now he's only around 5-6 months old and not fully grown yet but is already showing promise as he's quite big already!
